DAY – TO – DAY ROUTINE:
“My day usually starts at 7:30 am by checking emails, organizing my project load for the day and thinking through all my tasks at hand: I have CAD drawings to finish, clients to call and sometimes multiple meetings with manufacture representatives. Somedays I’m focused at my desk finishing drawings or presentations while other days I may be at the job site in heels and a hard hat.”
CURRENT PROJECTS:
East 9 at Pickwick Plaza in Kansas City, MO
Ironhorse Golf Course – Club House in Leawood, KS
Kansas State University – Purple Masque Theater in Manhattan, KS
LEARNING ON THE JOB:
These past two years has given Kelsey some insightful experience, “Attitude is everything. If you face every day with a can-do attitude or a will- do attitude you can accomplish anything.”
ADIVCE WORTH PASSING ON:
“You don’t have to have it all figured out after graduation. In due time, everything will fall into place and you will be right where you should be. I’m always thinking about where I’m headed. I always set goals for myself and say by this age I’m going to be doing this. Don’t be afraid to do the unexpected and take on the tasks that no one else wants to step up and do, sometimes they turn out to be the best ones.“
