The CDR has been offering high-quality professional mediation training for nearly 15 years, and we will again offer Civil and Family Mediation Training on March 25-29, 2020, in Springfield, MO. This fast-paced and dynamic training combines lecture, interactive exercises, demonstrations, and role play to assist participants in building their mediation skills. (Download a training brochure.)
Participants can choose to attend civil mediation training (March 25-27), civil and family mediation training (March 25-29) or family mediation training (March 27-29, if participants have prior civil mediation training). (View a list of detailed learning objectives.)
Over 20 Expert Trainers and Coaches
The CDR’s mediation training offers an unparalleled learning environment for attendees. It incorporates lecture, interactive exercises, and role play and brings together expert presenters and coaches with experience in all types of mediation, including civil mediation, family mediation, employment mediation, dependency mediation, and more.
Continuing Education Credits
Training hours qualify for continuing education credits for attorneys, counselors, social workers, human resource professionals, police officers, and others. Completion of the entire 40-hour training meets the mediation training requirement for Missouri Supreme Court Rule 17 (general civil mediators) and Rule 88 (family mediators). The training has also been approved for mediators in several other states, including Arkansas, Kansas, Illinois, Texas, and Louisiana.
