Until recently, the curricular proposal process used paper forms and often resulted in delays due to incomplete and misrouted requests.  The new process is completely electronic with proposals being submitted through the Curricular Action Workflow application and then routed automatically for approval.  Checking the status of a proposal is now as easy as refreshing a web page.
