The College of Natural and Applied Sciences have several new faces this semester. 

Biology 

• Dr. Babur Mirza, who earned his PhD at Texas State University 

Chemistry 

• Dr. Cyren Rico, who earned his PhD at University of Texas, El Paso 

Geography, geology and planning 

• Dr. Krista Evans, who earned her PhD at Clemson University 
• Dr. David Perkins, who earned his PhD at University of North Carolina, Greensboro 

Hospitality leadership 

• Yoshimasa (Nancy) Kageyama, who earned her PhD at University of Central Florida 
• Wajeana White, currently working towards an MPS in hospitality at MSU 

Math 

• Anna Tripi, will complete all degree requirements for an MS in mathematics from MSU in early September 
• Fan Zhou, who earned her MS in mathematics from MSU 

Physics, astronomy and material sciences 

• Tiglet Besara, a visiting assistant professor, who earned his PhD from Florida State University
