Honoring American Heart Month

How one professor is looking to cure a major heart problem.

February 21, 2018 by Tori York

February is American Heart Month.

Dr. Ryan Udan, assistant professor of biology, was recently featured for his work with congenital heart defects (CHDs).

CHDs happen in one percent of babies born in the United States. Udan is trying to find what causes those defects so he can fix them.

Congratulations!

Read more about Udan’s work with CHDs.
