- Biology awarded Brian Blankenship and Tanner Hoog Outstanding Graduating Seniors.
- CNAS has introduced a new leadership team.
- Mind’s Eye online features two CNAS faculty, Dr. Kevin Mickus (GGP) and Dr. Shouchuan Hu (MTH).
- Briana Anderson, biology graduate student, earns grant money to continue research associated with her thesis.
- Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) in Mathematics occurs at MSU during summer 2017.
- Bears of Distinction were celebrated on Saturday night. David will return on October 18 to give a seminar. Alanna is interested in joining the biology advisory board. Jennifer is very interested in women in STEM and is willing to come to campus this year to speak about technology. It was great to celebrate the success of three CNAS graduates!
ONGOING EVENTS
- Solar Eclipse is Monday, August 21 at 11AM – 2PM (totality at 1:13 pm) – A program will begin at 11:44 AM as the moon begins to move between the sun and earth.
- Protective eyewear will be available at the football stadium entrance.
- Classes will not be canceled during this time but you are free to bring your classes to the stadium as appropriate.
