Missouri State wants to recognize its graduates the week of commencement. You can help. MSU will post videos on university social media accounts of faculty members sending encouragement, well wishes and congratulations to students who are graduating in May. The criteria:
- 15 seconds or less
- Recorded in portrait orientation (vertical)
- Uploaded to this Google Drive folder by May 6
At the end of the week many of our graduate students will be presenting at the Einhellig Interdisciplinary Forum on Saturday, May 3. For detailed information about this event please contact the Graduate College or watch Inside Missouri State for more information.
Faculty and Staff – I want to thank everyone for the extra effort that you are putting forward to support our current and future students! Over 800 current students majoring in programs within CNAS have registered for classes in the fall. We are not done but that’s a great start. Several have stepped up to contact every newly admitted transfer student to help them get registered now and that is paying off. We just starting contacting all newly admitted first year students to answer questions and help them get registered for SOAR (summer registration and orientation which will take place exclusively in July this year).
Finals week starts in just two weeks!!! I know you are busy preparing your students for their final exams as well as submitting your contingency plans for fall and maybe even preparing to teach a class over the summer. I will be attending one of the online bootcamps in May as I will be teaching a lecture class for chemistry this fall and I want to be prepared. I do not have the many skills that you have so quickly learned over the last few weeks but I’m going to learn. Tammy
