- Inclusive Teaching in STEM – facilitated by Helena Metzker, Senior Instructor in Chemistry & Biochemistry. Registration is through My Learning Connection located in the Learning and Development card on your MSU profile.
- Offered this summer – July 11, 13, 18, 20 and 25 from 9-11 AM
- Offered this fall – Thursdays at noon starting August 24 and ending October 26. (registration will be open soon)
- This is open to department heads and all CNAS faculty this year. Next year we will be opening this up to our graduate students.
Staff Appreciation Week (June 12 – 16) – There are events on Monday June 12 from 5 to 8PM at Mother’s Brewing Company, Tuesday June 13 at 4:30PM the all staff photo is taking place at the John Goodman Amphitheatre and Friday June 16 there will be snacks available in the Glass Hall atrium and on the porch apron – with campus closing at 3PM June 16.

Tuesday 6/6/23@ 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Power Shutdown for Fountain Power Relocate – all sensitive equipment should be powered off by 8:45 am. If area is not affected equipment may be repowered by 9:30 am.
6/5/23 thru 6/9/23
- Temple Hall Power Shutdown for new power feed (6/6/23)
- Tentative South side storm & sanitary sewer replacement. (Restrooms on 2-3-4 will be closed)
- Electrical work on north side for fountain conduit/wiring.
- Tentative Fountain Shutdown (6/9/23 or 6/12/23)
- Continue trees, brick paver, and stone wall around project site removal. Forklift on JQH Parkway crossing Grand to Lot 18A.
- Removal of retaining walls and excess soil. Dump Trucks on JQH Parkway.
- Electrical and plumbing work preparation in south side fenced area.
- Plaza sculpture removed.
- Electricians working in areas affected by upcoming demolition to remove fixtures.
- Continue work to reverse exit doors in north hallway adjacent to Dean’s office temporarily closed.
- Continue new walls at temporary exit in OEWRI/old restroom.
- Commence building temporary walls at east entrance wall (all floors).
- Testing & Balancing of existing mechanical system. Contractors in various rooms in the building.
6/12/23 thru 6/16/23
- Electrical and plumbing work in south side fenced area continues.
- Continue work to reverse exit doors in north hallway adjacent to Dean’s office temporarily closed.
- Continue new walls at temporary exit in OEWRI/old restroom.
- Continue building temporary walls at east entrance wall (all floors).
- Building demolition mobilization: Large equipment on site and saw cutting commences at auditorium & east entrance wall (all levels) Monday thru Saturday from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm (Week 1/5).
- Testing & Balancing of existing mechanical system continues. Contractors in various rooms in the building.
