Board of Governors – Excellence in Public Affairs Award Nominations
The Board of Governors (BOG) is now accepting nominations for the 2024-2025 Board of Governors’ Award for Excellence in Public Affairs. Up to 3 faculty and 3 staff are awarded for distinctive on-campus public affairs work and accomplishments. Recipients must have 3 years of full-time employment at MSU. Awardees will receive recognition and an internal transfer of $1,500 to support their campus related public affairs projects, teaching, research, or service. CNAS may nominate one faculty member for the Excellence in Public Affairs Award from the BOG. If you wish to nominate someone – please submit names (no applications yet) to the dean’s office by February 21. Nominations will be reviewed and a finalist name will be submitted by March 8. (Full application materials are not due until April.)
Lab Safety Awareness Week
Missouri State University’s 1st Lab Safety Awareness Week – Please join us in celebrating Missouri State University’s first Lab Safety Awareness Week February 12th – 16th ! This event occurs nationwide and is designed to offer resources and ideas on how to keep our researchers, faculty, staff, and students safe and healthy as well as promote the success of lab safety practices.
