About the Congress

This year’s congress opened with a host recital on June 15 in the Jane A. Meyer carillon, a 48-bell Eijsbouts instrument that sits centrally on campus as part of the Duane G. Meyer Library tower.

Over the four-day event, artists like Malgosia Fiebig (Utrecht), Ed Nassor (National Cathedral), Jeremy Chesman (Missouri State) and Joey Brink (Winner of the Fabiola Competition) will be performing in the tower for all campus visitors to enjoy. There are also presentations being held in the library on topics useful to carillonists of all levels.

About the GCNA

The Guild of Carillonneurs in North America is dedicated to promoting the carillon art. It supports the development of proficient carillonneurs and encourages the building of new carillons, the improvement of existing installations and the composition and distribution of carillon music.

Award-winning carillonneur Malgosia Fiebig plays a recital of music by Bach at the 2015 GCNA Congress June 16.
