Documentary film shares veterans’ stories, screening and talk-back session Nov. 7

October 29, 2015 by Trysta Herzog

Filmmaker Paula Caplan will present her documentary film “Is Anybody Listening?” on Nov. 7 in Plaster Student Union Theater as part of the College of Arts and Letters MSU Film Series.

The film focuses on American veterans, allowing them a chance to speak openly about their experiences. Caplan, who produced and wrote the film, will participate in a talk-back session following the screening.

Film encourages connection, listening

Through the power of love and connection, Caplan attempts to break through the isolation many veterans feel.

She underscores the importance of listening wholeheartedly and respectfully to what our veterans have to say.
