Message from the Dean

We are honored that the Ozarks Celebration Festival has been a tradition on the Missouri State campus for the past 20 years. We regret that due to diminished state funding to the university, the festival has been cut from the budget and will not continue.

For two decades, the contributions of artisans, performers, students and volunteers helped make the festival a success. We are thankful for the support of generous sponsors and for the community’s warm reception of the festival.

Missouri State’s commitment to preserving and celebrating Ozarks culture and history continues through scholarship, archives, events and curricular programs.
