The department of theatre and dance at Missouri State University celebrates its 51st season of Tent Theatre with a summer lineup featuring two classic musicals and one comedy-drama.
June 12-15 and 17-22
Lonely hearts are as parched as the Texas dustbowl in the musical “110 in the Shade.” Spinster Lizzie Curry finds herself in a love triangle with Sheriff File and charismatic con man Bill Starbuck.
June 27-29 and July 1-6
Six Southern belles share happiness and heartbreak at a small-town beauty salon in the comedy-drama “Steel Magnolias.”
July 11-13 and 15-21
A diehard baseball fan makes a deal with the devil to win the pennant for his beloved home team in the musical comedy “Damn Yankees.”
Performance times and ticket details
All performances begin at 8 p.m. on the tent pad behind Craig Hall. Tickets are $14 and $22 for adults, and $12 and $20 for seniors, students and children. Season tickets are $34 and $60 for adults, and $29 and $55 for seniors, students and children. Special group rates are available.
Show-themed picnic suppers may be ordered 24 hours prior to each performance for $10 each. Picnic suppers are served from 7-7:45 p.m. on the south patio of Craig Hall and the proceeds support the Tent Theatre scholarship fund.

Parking information
Tent Theatre guests may access free parking in Lot 24 at the southwest corner of Grand Street and National Avenue. Also, short-term parking for pickup and drop-off is available on Grand Street in front of Craig Hall.
