Veteran’s Day celebrations are taking place on campus Friday, Nov.8. This year a variety of concerts and events will be held in honor of current and past veterans and remembering the Civil War. There will be several musical theatre students performing in the “Canteen Show,” an event between the Veteran’s Day Breakfast and the Taps Project. The show will be held in the PSU Food Court Nov. 8, from 9:45-10:15 a.m. The students will be singing pieces from the musical “Civil War,” by Frank Wildhorn.

Carl Glenn, musical theatre major 2014, is one of the students performing during this concert. “It’s very exciting to be a part if this concert. Any time that you are able to do anything to give back to any kind of veteran is wonderful. I simply hope to show thanks for everything that these men and women have done for us and to let them know that their efforts don’t go unnoticed,” said Glenn.
