An electrical outage affecting a great deal of the core Springfield campus will occur on Saturday, May 19th to allow for the installation of new electrical equipment at Woods House and Hill Hall. The electrical outage will begin at 5:30 a.m. with power being shut down in non-Residence Life facilities first. Residence Life facilities will be shut down starting at 8:05 a.m.. Power is expected to be fully restored to the campus prior to 11:59 p.m. on Saturday May 19th. Affected buildings include the following. Buildings provided with generators to serve life safety and other loads are noted.
