The FCTL is full speed ahead preparing for the second annual Spring Scholarship Summit, and invites faculty members to submit a proposal now to present at the event!

The Spring Scholarship Summit is an open-house style event that provides a platform for MSU faculty to share their current scholarly projects with our campus community. This event was created to celebrate and uplift the innovative spirit of faculty members that drives our university forward, and recognize the discoveries and initiatives they are pursuing in the field of teaching and learning. Faculty can present posters on any type of scholarly initiative – including formal research, publications or papers, experiences implementing teaching and learning strategies, and more. This event is a relaxed poster presentation event, allowing faculty to chat, explore, and connect with peers from all across campus while snacking on tasty hors d’oeuvres provided by the FCTL.

If you have a scholarly project that you would like to share with our campus community, don’t be daunted by the proposal process – for this event, submitting a proposal is quick and easy. All the FCTL needs to consider you for a proposal spot is a few sentences explaining who you are and what you would like to share with faculty. Presentations are welcome from all fields of study and scholarly backgrounds, and we encourage creativity.

The Summit will be held on April 15, 2026, from 3:30 – 5:00 pm. Proposals for the 2026 Spring Scholarship Summit are due March 1, 2026.
