Cayuga White Harvested Today

The Cayuga White grapes were harvested today in the Research Vineyard. This is the earliest I can remmeber harvesting wine grapes here at the station.

If berries are split from the recent rain, they are removed from the cluster so they do not rot

Each yellow lug holds about 20 to 25 pounds of grapes
