Only 6 Spots Left!

October 13, 2025 by Deidre Mings

Schedule Your On-Campus Mammogram — and Don’t Forget Your Biometric Screening!

On-Campus Mammography: Springfield & West Plains

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month—a great reminder to make your health a priority. Regular mammogram screenings remain one of the most effective tools for detecting breast cancer early, when treatment is most successful. If you haven’t scheduled your annual screening yet, now’s the time to take action.

Appointments for the Mercy Mammogram Bus on the Springfield campus are filling quickly—only six spots remain for October 16! Don’t miss this convenient on-campus opportunity to prioritize your health and peace of mind.

Preventive mammograms are covered at 100% under both the Base and Buy-Up medical plans when using an in-network provider. Missouri law also requires insurance plans to cover diagnostic mammograms—those ordered for follow-up when symptoms or prior imaging indicate further review—with no cost-sharing when medically necessary.
