2026 Tax Season Discount on Mercy Aged Accounts

Mercy Patient Services has announced the 2026 Tax Season Discount Program for outstanding medical balances. The program will run March 1, 2026 through May 31, 2026.

Discount Options

  • 15% discount on eligible aged balances when paid in full

  • 20% discount on eligible aged balances when paid in full if a credit card is tokenized or an ACH (check) is saved for future use

If you already have a tokenized card or saved ACH on file, you are eligible for the 20% discount when paying in full.

Eligibility Guidelines

To qualify:

  • Total outstanding balance must be greater than $250 (cumulative)

    • May include a combination of Legacy and Single Instance balances

  • Balance must be at least 45 days from the first statement

  • Eligible account types include Hospital Billing (HB), Professional Billing (PB), Home Health (HH), Prorated (ANRP), and Bad Debt accounts

Important Payment Requirement

  • The discount applies only when payment in full is processed at the time of the call or encounter

  • Payment plans and EPPC arrangements are not eligible for the discount

  • MSU/Point C patients to call Mercy Customer Service directly at 855-420-7900 to access the discount
