Schedule Your Mammogram- April 13
On-Campus Mammography:
Upcoming on-campus mammogram appointments are limited and filling quickly. We encourage you to schedule your appointment now to secure your spot. These visits offer a convenient, on-campus option, and once appointment slots are filled, additional openings may not be available for that date. Open to employees and dependents.
Regular mammogram screenings are one of the most effective tools for early detection of breast cancer, when treatment options are often more successful and outcomes improved. Scheduling your mammogram is an important step in proactive health care, even if you feel well and have no symptoms.
Preventive mammograms are covered at 100% under both the Base and Buy-Up medical plans when using an in-network provider. Missouri law also requires plans to cover diagnostic mammograms—those ordered for follow-up when symptoms or prior imaging indicate further review—with no cost-sharing when medically necessary.

$100 Wellness Benefit through Allstate Critical Illness Insurance
Critical Illness Insurance provides a lump-sum benefit to employees enrolled in the plan who are diagnosed with a covered critical illness—such as invasive cancer—helping with out-of-pocket medical costs and other expenses. Additionally, it provides an annual $100 wellness screening benefit, for specified screenings, such as a mammogram.
$50 Be Well Benefit through UNUM Hospital Indemnity Plan
Hospital Indemnity coverage provides a fixed cash benefit when a covered inpatient hospitalization occurs, which can help with unexpected costs such as deductibles, transportation, and everyday expenses while you’re in the hospital or recovering. Additionally, it provides an annual $50 wellness screening benefit, for specified screenings, such as a mammogram.
Reminder: Enrollment or changes to these benefits are only permitted within 31 days of a qualifying life event or during Open Enrollment (November 1 – December 1).
