Springfield & West Plains Campuses
Schedule Your On-Campus Mammogram
West Plains employees and covered dependents have an upcoming opportunity to receive an on-campus mammogram on July 1, 2026, when the Ozarks Healthcare Mammogram Bus returns to campus. Appointments are limited and fill quickly, so early scheduling is encouraged.
Both the West Plains and Springfield campuses offer convenient on-campus mammography appointments throughout the year. These visits provide an easy way to stay current with recommended preventive screenings without leaving campus.
Regular mammogram screenings are one of the most effective tools for early detection of breast cancer, when treatment options are often more successful and outcomes improved. Scheduling your mammogram is an important step in proactive health care, even if you feel well and have no symptoms.
Preventive mammograms are covered at 100% under both the Base and Buy-Up medical plans when using an in-network provider. Missouri law also requires plans to cover diagnostic mammograms—those ordered for follow-up when symptoms or prior imaging indicate further review—with no cost-sharing when medically necessary.
