Ensure your new hires, rehires and continued appointments have the necessary system accesses for their appointed semesters, and they are entered for timely payroll processing.
Beat This Very Important Deadline by Adding Reminders to Your Calendar:
No Later Than Wednesday, July 15:
- Must have submitted new Fall and Academic Year Graduate Assistant and Per Course appointments.

- Reduces confusion and/or anxiety of new employees and departments by ensuring all resources and information are available from day one.
- Demonstrates collaborative commitment to efficient onboarding across campus.
Checklist items (per Employee Handbook):
- All newly hired employees must complete I-9, W-4 and direct deposit forms in the hiring department no later than the first day of employment. The hiring department must make sure that the E-Verify process is completed within three days of the start date.
- The following forms are required to be completed and submitted to Office of Human Resources for each newly hired employee:

- Reference checks
- Personnel Action Form
- I-9 (no later than the first day of employment)
- E-Verification (within three days of the first day of employment)
- W-4 (deliver to payroll office Room 119)
- Direct Deposit (completed through the Employee Dashboard on My Missouri State)
