Lead Generation Intern – Interactive Dynamics

Interactive Dynamics is a locally owned growing company based in downtown Springfield.  They have developed three brands, Dust Shield, Phoenix Kiosk and The Apps Pros.  They are seeking a lead generation intern to assist the marketing department with business development.  The Intern will research and contact potential customers via email or by phone.  Possibly attend trade shows.  Must have be outgoing and have strong written and verbal communication skills.  Basic computer skills required and Salesforce training will be provided.   Interactive Dynamics is located at the MSU E-Factory on the BearLine.   They are seeking someone to work 15-20 hours a week with flexibility around class schedules.  This opportunity could continue beyond the Spring semester.

Summary 

Reporting to the company Vice President of Sales, the Lead Generation Associate Intern serves as a member of the sales team achieving Business to Business sales goals in an evolving technology based industry.

Essential Functions 

Assist Sales Team with business development

Research and contact potential customers via a variety of contact methods including email, phone, internet,

social media and others

Identify and qualify new prospects, with emphasis on increasing new business funnel

Special projects relating to lead generation as assigned

Document Salesforce lead tracking system

People Management

No direct management

Team player with sales team and organizational co-workers

* Outgoing with excellent communication skills both verbal and written

* Ability to interact with business professionals

* Basic computer skills required

Physical Conditions/Requirements 

* Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

* Must be able to operate a computer for extended periods of time

* Must be able to use a telephone

* Must be productive in a cubicle work environment

* Must be able to safely perform the job

* Must be able to meet attendance, overtime, on call, and other reliability requirements of the job
