DSC Logistics – Full-time Logistics

dsc logistics logoWe are looking to hire students who will be graduating in May of 2017, as this program does not start until July of 2017. The SCIL program is considered a full-time job, not an internship or co-op, and it feeds into management positions at the end of 12 months. Base pay is 55k with benefits. DSC’s Successful Careers in Logistics (SCIL) program offers you the opportunity to:

Experience aspects of our business on an accelerated schedule:

  1. ·         Take part in mentoring relationships
  2. ·         Work with and learn from people involved in daily operations and decision-    making
  3. ·         Experience core operations areas – Warehouse Management, Customer          Service, Transportation Management, Project Management
  4. ·         Gain an introduction to Business Process Integration, Supply Chain Solutions,
  5. ·         Continual Improvement, Engineering and Lean Methodology
  6. ·         Do all of this over the course of an 12-month rotation

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Some previous supply chain-related internship/work experience
  • Willingness to relocate/travel
  • Graduating in May 2017

States/cities: Southern California (San Bernardino area), San Diego, Chicago, Dallas, North Carolina, Tennessee, Iowa
