Position Description:
Bilingual Marketing and Human Resources Intern
Reports To:
Director of Human Resources/HR Administrator – Engagement & Retention
In this role, you will collaborate with Human Resources and the Marketing team to develop and implement a robust strategy for the Hispanic community including but not limited to: marketing communications, recruitment and retention, and employee referrals. This position is a paid internship.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Human Resources to understand needs and provide support in the creation and implementation of recruitment and retention programs for better outreach to target audiences
- Seek out best practices independently and be able to share those best practices in a format that supports O’Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC.’s talent acquisition strategy (social media trends, white papers, etc.)
- Develop holistic enterprise wide talent attraction, marketing and engagement strategies
- Shows a passion for employer branding and identify creative ways to bring our employment story to life
- Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties
- Performs other related duties as required
Skills & Abilities:
- Fluent in Spanish (verbal and nonverbal)
- Proficient in English (verbal and nonverbal)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Currently enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university and within 30 hours of being awarded a bachelor’s degree in any area of focus
- Able to work up to 30 hours per week maximum (15-20 hours while semester is in session
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communication or other area of focus relevant to the Hospitality industry
Working Conditions:
- General interior office environment
- Minimum distraction primarily from phones and brief interruptions
- Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes
