Position Overview: We need a temporary part-time marketing intern to fill in while our marketing director is on maternity leave for roughly three months.

Position Description: The main role will be content creation and maintaining the social media accounts.

Required Qualifications: 

• Marketing major
• Social media management skills
• Experience in content creation (graphics and video), copywriting, etc.
• Understanding of business marketing (speaking to a specific audience, strategy, tone, etc.)
• Basic graphic design (Canva)
• Basic social media video creation (capcut or equivalent)
• Copywriting
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Bonus: Facebook ad creation/monitoring

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stay up to date on current trending videos
• Sync with nurse practitioner once a week (via email) on what kinds of content is relevant based on patient conversations, new products, expiring products, etc.
• Create content (mix of trending and educational)
• Come into the clinic to batch record when necessary
• Post on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn pages every Monday-Friday (some of this content will be pre-created)
• Invite people to “like” our Facebook page when they “like” our ads
• Keep up with Facebook leads, document on Google sheet + send to admin for follow-up
• Respond to Facebook comments
• Potential to create new Facebook ads
• Potential for occasional marketing-related errands
• Potential for marketing material creation

Internship Location: Remote with some on-site at clinic in Republic, MO

Internship Weekly Hours: 5 – 10 hours per week

Internship Start Date: July

Internship End Date: Mid-October

Intern Compensation ($/hr): $15 per hour
