The Missouri State University Marketing Department is absolutely thrilled to announce and welcome our newest Supply Chain Management Instructor, Brandon Lentz! We invite you to join us in extending a huge, warm welcome to Brandon as he embarks on this exciting new chapter with us here at Missouri State.

Brandon’s remarkable journey from leading space exploration at NASA to, now, inspiring students in our classrooms is a testament to his groundbreaking spirit. We are immensely excited to leverage his unparalleled drive, extensive background, and innovative outlook to elevate our educational programs and foster the next generation of leaders. The positive impact he’ll have on our students and our team will be immeasurable, and we can’t wait to share the exciting developments to come.

Academic and Military Expertise

Brandon is a proud alumnus of Missouri State University, having earned both his Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management and his Masters in Project Management from the institution. His extensive background also includes 16 years of military experience serving in both the Air Force and Navy. Currently, in addition to now being an instructor within our department, serves as a Navy Reserve Supply Corps Officer.

A New Chapter Begins

Brandon himself shared some reflections on his incredible journey: 

“While I’ll always carry those memories [from NASA] in my orbit, I’m thrilled to be charting a new course as an Instructor at Missouri State University.”

He’s excited to share his passion, experience, and curiosity with the next generation of thinkers, builders, and dreamers. Most of all, he’s eager to give back to the place that opened his mind, molded him, and, as he puts it, “launched me among the stars.”
