Position Overview
Mylo is looking for ambitious and driven students who want to spend next summer learning, growing, and contributing to Mylo’s unique work environment! Our full-time, paid internship program is eight weeks long this upcoming summer in Kansas City. We’d love you to join our team of inspired, passionate, fun and creative problem solvers!
Position Description
As a Mylo Summer Sales Intern, you get the opportunity to interact with sales leaders and Insurance professionals across our entire business to gain a better understanding of Mylo’s purpose and operations. You will work alongside licensed, selling professionals who can share years of knowledge to help you grow and validate your career aspirations.
Required Qualifications
- Motivated and hardworking students who are looking to grow their sales skills and learn about the Insurance Industry
- Creative thinkers and curious minds who thrive in fast-paced environments
- Leaders on campus who are successful in balancing extra-curriculars and academics
- Business students on track to graduate between December 2026- May 2027
- Individuals who are located or able to relocate to Kansas City for the summer
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in sales role plays with active competition amongst your peers
- Learn about each business unit that helps make our sales process successful
- Shadow top-performing licensed Insurance Consultants
- Conduct screening calls for Mylo’s leads to gain hands-on experience
- Participate in weekly group discussions with Mylo Leadership
- Attend sales and company-wide meetings
- Research and provide recommendations for sales process improvement
- Present on project findings to Mylo Leadership, including the CEO and President
- Learn best practices and be supported one-on-one by a mentor
- Make professional connections and friendships through intern-focused social events
Location: Leawood, KS
Hours: M-F, 8 am – 5 pm
Start Date: June 1, 2026
End Date: July 22, 2026
Pay: $18/hr
