Missouri State University is proud to welcome three accomplished industry leaders to its advisory boards as part of the university’s ongoing commitment to strengthening its Missouri State advisory boards and connecting students with real-world expertise and industry insight.
Strengthening the Marketing Advisory Board
The Marketing Department is excited to welcome two dynamic professionals whose experience spans digital innovation, brand strategy, and creative leadership.
Allyson Strickland joins as Director of Digital Marketing at O’Reilly Auto Parts, where she has spent over a decade driving performance through data-driven strategy and influencer partnerships. She has overseen the O’Rewards loyalty program and led significant growth across Google Ads and paid social channels. Allyson has also championed initiatives like the company’s marketing internship program and creative campaigns such as the “Aztek 200” and the O’Reilly Jingle Contest.
Kesha Alexander, founder and Chief Strategy Officer of Supper Co., brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing and communications. She specializes in insight-driven brand strategy and integrated marketing for food and hospitality brands. She held leadership roles at The Marlin Network and The Alchemedia Project, working with brands like Unilever Food Solutions and Keurig. A proud Missouri State alumna, Kesha is deeply committed to mentorship and developing future marketing leaders.
Together, Allyson and Kesha bring digital expertise, strategic insight, and creative vision to the Marketing Advisory Board.
Expanding the Supply Chain Management Advisory Board
The Supply Chain Management program welcomes Jeff Tynes, President and CEO of SGC Foodservice.
A fourth-generation leader, Jeff began as a CDL truck driver and worked across operations, sales, purchasing, and marketing before becoming President in 2008. Under his leadership, SGC has grown into a leading independent foodservice distributor serving 10 states.
Jeff is also deeply engaged in industry and community leadership, serving on multiple boards including the International Foodservice Distributors Association, CoxHealth, and Ozarks Food Harvest. His experience and commitment to service will provide invaluable guidance to students pursuing careers in supply chain and logistics.
Bridging Industry and Education
Advisory board members play a vital role in ensuring that academic programs remain aligned with industry needs. By welcoming leaders from both marketing and supply chain, Missouri State continues to strengthen its hands-on, career-focused education.
These new members will provide mentorship, strategic insight, and opportunities that help prepare students to thrive in an evolving professional landscape.
