KME – Mathematics Lecture Series on Wednesday 23

The first KME Seminar (Mathematics Lecture Series) will be this Wednesday September 23 at 2:30pm in Cheek 204. Professor Steven Senger will be presenting on the “Kirkman’s Schoolgirl Problem”. This problem can be posed as: “In a boarding school there are fifteen schoolgirls who always take their daily walks in rows of threes. How can it be arranged so that each schoolgirl walks in the same row with every other schoolgirl exactly once a week?

This event is open to everyone. Pizza and refreshment will be served.
