After an academic year, summer vacation usually means students turn off their brains and relax, not return to a classroom and attend a math summer camp.
But students participating in the Young Mathematics Teaching Academy are doing just that – and learning what it’s like to be a math teacher.
The camp is run by faculty in the mathematics department at Missouri State University, and has been taking place on the MSU campus.
