Professors to premiere orchestra piece in China

Music professors Dr. John Prescott and Dr. Cynthia Green Libby will travel to China next month to debut Prescott's piece, "Baroque Concerto for 2 Oboes and Chamber Orchestra." One-act opera illustrates segregation struggles, celebrates African-American Heritage Month

Music professor’s group to perform free recital Feb. 7

Missouri State music professor Dr. Allison Storochuk (clarinet) will join University of Arkansas professors Lia Uribe (bassoon) and Tomoko Kashiwagi (piano) in a recital at 3:30 p.m., Feb. 7, in Ellis Recital Hall.
