This year’s theme is The Power of VOICE. Join us as we explore the many aspects of The Power of Voice, the 2020-2021 Public Affairs theme.
There will be one In-Person opening panel session on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the PSU Theatre. The title of the event is Have a Strong Voice! And I will use it to…?
There will be local and national speakers, 20-panel sessions, and new this year will be fifty-minute panel sessions with start times mirroring class times.
Some of the Plenary Speakers include Marcus Engel, who is the Co-founder of I’m Here Movement. He will present The Other End of the Stethoscope on Wednesday, September 30, from 12:20 PM to 1:20 PM. Ebony Stewart, a Spoken Word Artist, Poet, Advocate, will present The Power of Voice Expressed by Ebony on Wednesday, September 30, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Lyrissa Lidsky, who is the Dean and Professor of MU School of Law. She will present Social Media Self-Sabotage on Thursday, October 1, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Sue Klebold is an author and advocate for Mental Health. She will present Reaching for Hope on Thursday, October 1, from 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
