Missouri State University is a long-time supporter of the United Way. This year, we are excited to allow employees to participate in this year’s Day of Caring on June 23 as part of their normal work schedule. This is a tangible way to support our community as part of our public affairs mission.

Participation is subject to staffing availability to maintain the operations of the University. Employees must obtain the approval of their supervisor.

How to participate
To participate, employees should develop a team and sign up for a project. Projects go quickly, so sign up early.

Day of Caring will celebrate 30 Years of Caring in our community on June 23. We’re excited to again host the largest, single-day volunteer event in Southwest Missouri.

Welcome to our volunteer platform
To better serve Day of Caring participation, we have a new volunteer platform. You will be able to register for Day of Caring projects, as well as track your volunteer efforts and explore additional volunteer opportunities.
To ensure you have a seamless experience in signing up for volunteer opportunities, we invite you to update your volunteer profile.

Set your account password
To set your password, go to liveunited.uwozarks.org. Please select “Login.” Enter your email address and select the link “Forgot your password?” Then, select “Login” again to use your email and new password.

Volunteer solo or build your team
Whether you would like to participate on your own, or you plan to build a team, Day of Caring offers service projects to fit your strengths and talents.
