Today we went to Nha Trang. We had to drive a few hours to get to the airport in Da Nang. But we got to see one of the longest tunnels in Vietnam! We arrived to our hotel, settled in, and we were on our way. We visited the "Husband" rock. There is a very large imprint in the stone that looks like a hand. We visited two tombs today. Tu Doc and Khai Dinh. The tombs were very different. Khai Dinh's tomb covered a small area and was very gray. His tomb was very French inspired. Tu Doc's tomb was not just a tomb because he was alive when it was finished. There were areas on the property for Tu Doc to go and relax. The tomb was more of a traditional Vietnamese tomb. Well, back home safe and sound. I still need to unpack. Looks like all of my souvenirs made it alright. My prized souvenir is my non la (conical leaf hat). This morning, I awoke early to hug Kristina bye and wish her luck on her other adventures in Asia. I'm glad she is continuing her travels. Asia has a lot unique cultures and plenty to see and do.
