After the adventurous and fun trip to Vietnam and Myanmar last summer, I have been missing the feeling of traveling. Like most participants from last year, I decided to go again believing I will have a totally different experience.
Singapore, as the Lion City, the Garden City, is actually a Southeast Asia country as the same size as Springfield. Indonesia is the largest island country in the world by the number of islands. These two countries both have the core principle multiculturalism. They are both highly influenced by Chinese culture. I love experience culture differences, so this is what I look forward most. Statistically, about half of the population of Singapore speaks Mandarin Chinese. There is also a good amount of Chinese speakers in Indonesia. Since I am Chinese, it would be nice that I can communicate a little bit better with them without misunderstanding, which can be helpful for our group.
I’m really excited to see different things and have different experience with different people, which is really the point of enjoying life.
