Vietnam is currently having one of the hottest days ranging from 95-105F. The weather has been this high since the last two weeks and is forecasted to prolong in the upcoming 3-5 days (TuoiTreNews). This will only be a couple days before we depart and from my personal experience, it would not cool down that much even after the heat wave. Since the majority of our group have not been to Vietnam before, I just want to stress on the importance of packing something with light color, materials that you can get comfortable with and drink a lot of water while we are there as it is very easy to get dehydrated. The tour guides usually provide bottle waters at the beginning of the day so we do not need to bring water. Water is not accessible at all places so I would recommend carrying them in your sack bag as you travel.:)

Thanks for the heads-up! I’m sure that the climate is quite humid, so I’ll definitely try my best to ensure that I don’t dehydrate. I’ve only been dehydrated once, and I most definitely never want that to happen again. I’ll be drinking as much water as I can!
