– [ ] 05/20 Today was am amazing day. As my last full day in Vietnam, we mpventured the day with more of a group style. Waking early, the group traveled to Saigon brewery, Sabeco. This brewery was created and designed by Royal haskinings, the business we visited the day before. I honestly would not mind working for this company. However, I probably would not want to be stationed in Vietnam. After the brewery, we traveled to a Project Vietnam Special Needs facility. This location is run by Catholic nuns their patience and hard work day in and day out dumbfounded me. I am in awe of their dedication and hope to strive to be more like them. After the heartbreaking visit to PVNF facility, we traveled to the Cu Chi tunnels. However, before we could reach the tunnels, the bus parked next to a local, and very rural (think dirt roads) farmers market. Some of the group got regular dinner. I was one of those people. Instead, I bought a watermelon and then proceeded to eat it almost to entirety. The rest of the day was delightful. I hope josh had a good birthday also.
05/21 I traveled to Singapore today. And let me tell you, oh my goodness, I am in love with this country. We visited the Merlion and went to the sky bar. Everyone is so posh. But food is really expensive. I bought some mini fish and chips and it was $20. They hit the spot though. I cannot wait to go and explore again tomorrow. Wish breakfast was included in the hotel fee. I am in love with this town. More to follow tomorrow.
