I am one of those people that consistently gets car sick when traveling in cars or buses. However, over the years I found ways to relieve some of the symptoms. On this trip we will have quite a few hours traveling in some kind of vehicle. I want to be prepared, so I have researched more tips to avoid motion sickness symptoms.
Here are some of the things I have discovered over the years along with other tips I will try if I need to:
-drink water
-breath deeply and slowly
-keep eyes fixed on the road in front
-take medication (Dramamine or Meclizine)
-purchase a pressure point bracelet
-dont eat greasy foods prior to trip
-ginger has been shown to help with motion sickness
-ensure sufficient air ventilation on your face
-DO NOT read
-Rest your head against the seat back, to keep it still
