I love food and I know we will be experiencing different cuisines on this trip from Vietnam, Laos, and Paris. I am very excited to try street food but also nervous, because I don’t know how they are making the food. Professor Pham has told all of us to eat everything cooked, not raw, so I’m interested to see how that goes. The bread and different pastries is always loved, finding out the difference between Asian pastries and French pastries could have major or minor taste differences. Compared to the US they don’t use as much sugar and I’m curious to know if I will like those desserts more or less. The portion sizes will be smaller, but I think that’ll be a good aspect to continue when we get back to the US. I’ll definitely be incorporating what I eat in my daily blogs during the trip and I’ll probably take pictures as well!
