It has been a long day of traveling to Phonsavan, Laos. We started the morning off with going to the president’s home in Luang Prabang, there was also a Buddha statue made from only gold. Then we walked up 300 plus stairs to see a spectacular view of the entire cities including the delta and river in Luang Prabang. The last temple we visited was Wat Xieng Thong, it had beautiful architecture and tiling. We had an 8 hour car ride to the current city and it definitely felt like 8 hours. We had dinner and stopped by the local night market. Tomorrow is a full day at the Plain of Jars!
