Everyone has done an amazing job thus far of finding fun activities we can do while studying abroad and I wanted to make sure that I contributed. While my love for science is strong, my desire for adventure and fun will always win over in competition. After doing some research I was able to find a page that talks about climbing the Sydney Harbour Express Bridge while we are in Australia. I know for a fact I plan on bungee jumping in Cairns and I think that I might as well face my fear of heights first while visiting Sydney. The site I was reading displayed beautiful pictures that offer the climb in the day or night. No matter what time you decide to go, both times received outstanding reviews that spoke highly on the views and the appreciation individuals made with the structure and quality of the bridge itself. I preferably would like to go as the sun is setting, like we mentioned before it will be summertime in Australia during our trip so I think (along with the sunset) the weather will be cooler during this point in the day.

I love that you found this! There is a YouTuber that I follower on insta, and she just recently climbed the Sydney Bridge. While looking through the photos, I thought this would be a fun experience. I did not think we would have enough time, so I did not look into it. I think that if we have time, and enough people that we should try and do this.

The bridge climb looks amazing! Depending on the cost and if we have the time I might be interested in this. If we don’t have time to do the bridge climb though maybe we can still find some time to go walk across it. We won’t be as high up but would still get the experience of going across the bridge. The walkway has wire mesh for protection reasons but looking online there seem to be some gaps where you could take photos.

I am planning to do this on the morning of New Year’s Day before the cruise. I hope they are open then.
