The financial aid website was redesigned to provide better service to students, parents and others looking for financial aid assistance. Updating this site was important to the University as financial aid is a core component of the recruitment process.
Key features of the newly designed website include the following:
- Organizes site by audience
The website was organized into sections for incoming freshmen, transfer students, current students and graduate students. This organization helps visitors filter the information down to smaller set. - Provides easy access to key items
Buttons were also added to many pages to highlight key actions, such as accessing the net price calculator. - Makes the scholarships easier to scan
The site uses the Web Press scholarship template to present scholarship details, which is also used on academic websites. Special attention was given to these pages:
