Explore Cultures Around the World at Tour of the Globe

Want to experience cultures from around the world without leaving Springfield? Missouri State University’s International Programs is hosting Tour of the Globe: Passport to Play on Friday, November 6.

Tour of the Globe gives international students at Missouri State an opportunity to share parts of their cultures with the campus and Springfield communities. This year’s theme, Passport to Play, focuses on something people across cultures have in common: play.

Throughout the evening, international students will showcase what play looks like in different parts of the world. Attendees can experience different cultures through free food, music and activities while learning more about the traditions and experiences of students from around the globe.

Connect with the Missouri State Community

College is about more than the classroom. Campus events offer adult and non-traditional students opportunities to get involved, connect with the university community, and experience more of what Missouri State has to offer.

Tour of the Globe offers a relaxed opportunity to meet other members of the Missouri State community, learn about different cultures and enjoy an evening of activities. The event is also free and open to the public, so you can invite family and friends to join you.
