Meet Rhonda Clark, a transfer student from Marionville, MO!
Rhonda transferred to Missouri State University from Cox College, where she earned an associate’s degree in Nursing. Rhonda is pursuing the Bachelor of General Studies program at Missouri State University.
When asked why Rhonda chose to transfer to Missouri State University, Rhonda said, “MSU gave me the chance to continue with my dream.” Rhonda says the most enjoyable part of her transfer experience has been the opportunity to, “go to school with my niece, Myca”.
Rhonda says the most challenging part of transferring to Missouri State University was “getting connected to the right advisor.” That leads to Rhonda’s advice for a new transfer student at Missouri State University, which is to, “Find the right academic advisor, and use them as a resource. That’s what they’re here for.”
Rhonda would like to use this opportunity to give a shoutout to someone who has helped her in her transition to Missouri State University: Campbell Keele, her current academic advisor. Rhonda says, “Campbell helped me realize I could fail forward.”
