Professor’s work showcased in Springfield Art Museum exhibit

Keith Ekstam, an MSU art and design professor, is one of seven artists whose works will be featured in the Springfield Art Museum's exhibit, "The Wood-Fired Kiln: A Catalyst for Collaboration." The exhibit features work created using wood-firing kiln and showcases various wood-firing techniques. MFA graduate student work chosen for international competition

Art history students have exciting summer ahead

Several art history students have been accepted into competitive programs this summer to learn more about their fields. Hannah Harmon Hannah Harmon, an art history major and museum studies minor, was awarded a competitive summer internship at the Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site. Graduate student wins international typography award

Master of fine arts student Maria Gerasimchuk-Djordjevic was named among the winners of Print magazine's Type and Lettering Awards, an international competition, with her work "Lai!/Bark!"
