Cultural competence is never more apparent than when international students call Missouri State University home.
Upholding a pillar of Missouri State’s public affairs mission is a cause for celebration. To celebrate the diversity and culture of MSU, students share their history and heritage.
International Education Week is a celebration of the more than 1,500 students from more than 85 countries at MSU. More than 15 programs and departments have come together to make this experience possible.
Collaboration in action
“Collaboration between departments allows us to highlight the importance of hosting international students, study abroad, language and globalization,” said Brad Bodenhausen, MSU’s associate vice president of international education and training. “Globalization is part of developing educated citizens, and part of the Missouri State experience.”
