That’s what Tent Theatre at Missouri State University has in store for audiences this summer. The lineup features two musicals and one comedy. Tickets go on sale May 1.

- “Peter and the Starcatcher” – 8 p.m. June 28-July 3, 5-6
- “The Drowsy Chaperone” – 8 p.m. July 11-14, 16-21
Bringing new stars to the stage
Sarah Wiggin, artistic director for Tent Theatre and associate professor, shares about what to expect in the 56th season. This summer, she hopes to please the loyal fans of Tent Theatre as well attract some new show goers with some innovative storytelling techniques and lively shows.

All performances begin at 8 p.m. on the tent pad at the north side of Craig Hall.
Single tickets

Pre-show picnics
Guests can enjoy show-themed picnic dinners from 7-7:45 p.m. at the Craig Hall south patio. Picnics are $12.50 and a portion of the proceeds support the Tent Theatre scholarship fund. Place orders at least 24 hours in advance at MissouriStateTix.com or by calling 417-836-7678.
Parking information
Guests may access free parking at the east side of lot 24, located at the southwest corner of Grand Street and National Avenue. Short-term parking for passenger pick-up and drop-off is available on Grand Street on the south side of Craig Hall.
