There is nothing like hands-on experiences as you learn to become a professional engineer. Are you interested in working on the power grid, building a bridge or maybe even a race car? Anything is possible as you discover the cooperative engineering program at MSU while earning a Missouri S&T engineering degree in electrical, civil or mechanical engineering.

Getting involved is so important in getting the most out of your time in college. Getting involved in student organizations allows you build connections and form relationships that you might not have formed otherwise. It also allows you to gain knowledge and learn skills in an interactive and hands-on manner.
In the College of Natural and Applied Sciences you can take part in building a Formula SAE car and racing the car against other universities in the spring semester. While working on the car, you will be led by Dr. Doug Carroll and will learn skills including welding, following procedures, and working as a collaborative team.
