Protecting your smartphone is about being prepared. Here’s how.

 

YOUR SMARTPHONE is probably one of the most important items in your life. You can secure yourself against potential loss or theft using built-in tools to locate your phone. However, you must set these up before you lose your phone. Be prepared.

For iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > iCloud
  2. Turn on Find My iPhone

For Android

  1. Go to Settings > Security
  2. Under Android Device Manager, turn on Remotely locate this device and Allow remote lock and erase
